About Rocky's Established in 1993, Rocky Gillenwater transformed an old paint warehouse built in the early 1930’s into Bricktown’s popular Special Event Hall. He left the building’s integrity intact during the two year remodel, leaving the wonderful wood rafter ceiling exposed and painstakingly reconditioning its proud original hardwood oak and teak floors. You will find Rocky’s to be comfortable with its warm, welcoming atmosphere that takes you and your guests back to a time when things seemed a little simpler. Hand painted murals of family and friends are the backdrop to the fine antique furnishings, historical signs and photographs, as well as interesting antique paraphernalia collected over the years. Stain glass lamps hang throughout the Hall and also above Rocky’s beautiful 1889 Brunswick Bar… over 36 feet long, you won’t have any problem enjoying a frosty cold mug of beer, a fine cocktail, or a soda for the younger ones. For your party guests we can offer a varied menu selection that includes Hickory Smoked BBQ Ribs, Mesquite Chicken, or Marinated Teriyaki Pork Loin… how ‘bout Rocky’s trademark Brisket with his own special BBQ sauce?!!
